反應不同

小肉包班上有設立一個獎懲制度, 每天下午老師會依照小朋友們一天的表現, 給予 green face, yellow face, or red face. 前一陣子小肉包常常得到 red face, 老師還寫了一張紙條讓他帶回家, 紙條內容如下:

Yellow:
asked to sit quietly during Circle Time but decided to kick another student
(說故事時間, 老師希望小肉包安靜的坐著, 他卻決定去踢另外一個學生.)

Red:
1. scribbled in the writing notebook
(在筆記簿上亂塗鴉)
2. playing during Circle Time so was asked to leave the carpet
(在說故事時間自己玩遊戲, 被老師請離開地毯區.)
3. played with foam blocks during nap time and got them stuck into his cot/bed
(午睡的時候玩泡棉, 結果泡棉卡在床墊裡.)
4. got out of bed during nap time & played with another student
(午睡的時候爬起來和別的小朋友玩耍.)

收到這張紙條, 爸爸媽媽的反應大不同:

從小到大都是模範生的媽媽: "完了, 兒子被老師列入黑名單, 要怎麼改正小肉包這些毛病呢? 改天要跑一趟學校跟老師好好談談.... (焦慮不停)"

從小到大都是問題學生的爸爸: "這位老師也太誇張了吧? 三歲半的小朋友在筆記簿上亂塗鴉很正常啊! 不然難道要他寫作文嗎? 說故事時間小朋友不專心, 老師自己要檢討啊! 也許老師講故事的方式太無聊了, 下次換我去講, 栩栩如生唱作俱佳保證小朋友們都聽得很專心! (沒事啦~ 我們兒子沒問題.)"
