禮拜六晚上去參加阿公的生日派對, 去Cliffside Park的Palisade restaurant吃buffet. 這是可可除了看醫生之外第一次公開出門亮相, 我們特地幫他換上新的T-shirt和牛仔褲. 但是牛仔褲有點太大, 看起來很好笑.
We went to grandpa's birthday party at Palisade restaurant on Saturday. This was the first time Kareem officially visited a public space, so we dressed him up with a new t-shirt and a pair of jeans. But the jeans were a little too big for him and he looked pretty funny.
不過即使經過精心打扮, 可可還是搶不過哥哥的風采. 阿公生日和其他各個生日節慶一樣, 搞到最後像是小肉包生日似的, 大家都要跑過來跟他照相, 阿公也很慷慨的讓小肉包吹蠟燭. 不知道可可要長到多大之後才能自己爭取到一點大家的目光呢?
Even after dressing up with new clothes, Kareem still didn't get as much attention as Hasan did. Grandpa's party was like all other parties we had recently - it turned out like Hasan's own birthday party. Everyone wanted to take pictures with him, and he ended up blowing the candles on grandpa's cake. When would Kareem be able to share everyone's attention with Hasan?
